Emily has been directly involved with land conservation since 2018 and currently works for the Squam Lakes Conservation Society. She also sits on the New Hampshire Land Trust Coalition board and works with other land trusts and conservation commissions on the side. Emily holds a bachelor's degree in wildlife and conservation biology and a master's degree in natural resources, both from the University of New Hampshire. 

Bow has been home to her and her husband since 2025. Her favorite hobbies include enjoying nature in many ways such as gardening, skiing, and spending time at camp.
